Kasama na siguro sa pang araw araw na “online” life ko ang paghahalungkat sa Google. Pero may napapansin ka ba sa Google minsan? ^_^

Tulad nung Nov 11, Merong Helmet yung Google.Com (in English), parang “anung meron” diba ? Apparently, that day, Veteran’s Day pala sa US. Tapos nung Christmas season, usually mga snow snow items ang nakalagay, pag holloween naman puro pumpkins

Tagged again ^_^ Teehee ~ Era wanted me to have a screen shot of my desktop, so I did. I basically work with two computers, so I guess it would be best to let you take a peek at both of em.

First one would be my usual screen at work ~ cluttered and all. I have about 16 opened applications, which includes my blog of course ~ Nothing special on the wallpaper part, just plain blue and the shortcuts are unavailable. So I’ve rather have you look at some tools we use. Bytheway, there are times we have to open 25+ apps all at once! Imagine Multitasking

uy~ Ito ay para sa mga nag aaral pa, mga kumukuha ulit, mga bumagsak, mga pumasa (nandaya man o pinagsikapan), ng mga math subjects : algebra, trigonometry, statistics, integral calculus, mga kung ano-anong derivations-eklavu at formulalulalu, na ikinasasanhi ng pagdurugo ng ilong, pagpapawis ng utak at panandaliang comatose. Hope you find pictures “inspiring” ^_^ Goodluck sa mga may exams! ^_^

You can also find a good number of eye candies at George Lindemann Jr Museum of Modern Art. They use different kind of mediums too!

I was actually thinking for an item to post. While on my usual routine of browsing “work related” sites, I came across a fave selection. Naalala ko dati na pag pumupunta kami ng nanay ko sa parlor (maraming magazines dun para sa mga nag-aantay) bubuklatin ko yung MOD magazine, at hahanapin yung SLICE OF LIFE. Hehe.

Inbetween the humor, lines and shades, makakakita ka ng nakasingit na caricature ni Master Arcala. Parang Where’s Wally/Waldo. Maraming nagawang mga artworks, caricatures at cartoons si Mr. Larry Alcala na nagpapakita ng simple o kaya naman ay “bonggang ” buhay ng pinoy. Kalimitang mga okasyon: fiesta, pasko, summer vacation spot, at mga palengke scenes. Naging trademark narin ni Mr. Arcala ang drawing style. Naka-auction ang Slice of Life ngayon.

Nakakalungkot nga lang na, na-process lang ang pagiging National Artist nya, nuong lumabas ang “application” ni FPJ bilang National Artist din..

Napapaisip tuloy ako kung pano idro-drawing ni Master Alcala ang pag-ttxt. ^_^

Mid 1998 I found a brightly colored Manga in a bookstore stall, I browsed thru the pages and found the art style way cool~ so i immediately bought a copy, out of my humble cash allowance ~ it’s was Culture Crash Comics.

They’ve produced 15 grand issues with 4 or 5 comic series in each comic. So, i really have to stretch out my budget in order to acquire one. But no regrets! ^_^ The Team started out with only 4 staff. James, Jio, Taga-Ilog and Memer (iq40). It started out a craze, got people reading comics again, and anime was in.

Then came 2004, they’ve stopped producing CCCOM. Said it was due to high economic instability.. so to speak. But what really puzzles me, is that the comics vanished after they had avertisers already..

Well, back at the image above, it is done by ~iq40 or Elmer Damaso, better known as Memer. The man behind Cat’s Trail. His line art is one of the best i’ve seen. Seeing him back at the deviantart page, i quickly registred, in order to post a comment. hehe.

Hopefully CCCOM will be back in business again. ^_^  

I came accross JohnSu’s deviations the other day, and well, i love his humor and his drawing style. It inspires me to draw again. ^_^
