Definition of bookworm on the Web:
Any of a number of moth or fly larvae which tunnel through the pages of books leaving behind small channels, holes in individual leaves. Very early books often have some evidence of bookworm damage. Also a term used for someone that a lot of time with book and reading.

When I get home after shift, I usually open my PC up and check for mails, chat and blog updates… But now as soon as I reach home - I’ll check my table top for an unfinished read, grab a tall glass of water and get sucked in another world as soon as I flip thru the pages. I found myself reading a lot lately, it relieves stress than any tabs can.
This is just a small portion of the books I’m telling you about ~ ^_^
While doing my regular book hunting yesterday, my friend recommended reading this book - Six Thinking Hats by Edward de Bono. Quite a good read for people who have to come up with a ideas, goals, solutions or make important decisions. It’s a technique for thinking.
I haven’t got a copy yet, but i am fishing over the net for a good complete catch ^_^ . Hehe. While looking thru, here’s what I’ve found:
**WARNING: INFO OVERLOAD**
‘Six Thinking Hats’ is a powerful technique that helps you look at important decisions from a number of different perspectives. It helps you make better decisions by forcing you to move outside your habitual ways of thinking. As such, it helps you understand the full complexity of the decision, and spot issues and opportunities to which you might otherwise be blind. [via]

Kokology is the study of kokoro which in Japanese means “mind” or “spirit”. The series of Kokology books were created by Isamu Saito, a professor at Rissho and Waseda Universities in Japan and an author of a number of bestselling books regarding psychology and relationships.
The books present a series of psychological games and hypotheticals that are designed to reveal one’s hidden attitudes about sex, family, love, work, and other elements of one’s life. It is essentially a game of self-discovery that can provide interesting, and often hilarious insight by answering questions to seemingly innocent topics.
Wee ^_^ Matagal tagal ko narin winiwish mabili tong book na ito eh, ang swerte ko pa kasi binili nya pareho. Thanks Quel!
Grab a pen and write your answers in a pad. The trick to an honest game here is to write the first thing that pops into your mind. You’ll be amused of your answers
Here’s the Game 1 :
A DESERT JOURNEY
1. You are riding a camel across the vast and empty expanse of a seemingly endless desert. You have ridden until you are near exhaustion. What words would you say to the camel that has carried you all the way?
2. Just at the point when you thought you’d die of thirst, a beautiful oasis appears. But someone has arrived before you. Who is the other traveler ? ( Use the name of a person you know.)
3. Time passes slowly in the dessert, and it feels like an eternity before the lights of a town appear on the horizon. You have finally reached your destination. what are your feelings as you come to your journey’s end ?
4. the time has come to part with the camel you have ridden for so long. Just as you dismount, a new rider climbs into the saddle to take your place. Who is the new rider ? ( Name another person in your life.)
Ready? ^_^ Answers are after the jump ~

my fave past time is reading books - at the bookstore!!

thanks to http://xkcd.com for the i-feel-you comic strip ^_^
There was an Anime with the same title Read or Die, where in a bibliomaniac gal Yomiko Readman works as a Secret Agent for the British Library. Blessed with ability to make paper other than paper - into a shield, sword, even an airplane that could fly them out. It all depends on her imagination and some psychokinesis of course.
I haven’t acquired a copy of the anime yet, but I’m planning to get one once I’m finished with the novel I’m reading right now. Am pretty much occupied with Stephenie Meyer’s Vampire Trilogy : Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. Thanks to Ms. Toni’s review that I found myself reading english novels again. Passing 268 pages of .DOC file in font 8, for Twilight and another 261 pages, for New Moon in just a week — I’ve outdone myself! Amazingly~ the last book I’ve read was just 90 pages., took me about a week to finish too.

I’m too engrossed in this vampire love story that my officemates were having a hard time in excusing me off my reading. As if I there is a Do Not Disturb Sign on my forehead. Would it be too much if I told you I was grinning each time after reading a portion of it? Biting my nails whenever there was threat. I felt like a school girl again!
I can’t really blog hop lately *insert angst here*, but that can’t stop me from reading~! And doing Multi-Tasking during taking in calls of course. Teehee!
I just can’t believe the book characters have their own MySpace profile. You can start with Edward’s . Haha ~
According to Stephenie Meyer’s official site, she had signed in for a movie ~!! woohoo!! Hopefully they’ll do justice with the characters. Now I have to get back in finishing Eclipse before the movie’s out and maybe find a way how to turn paper into an airplane ~ by folding it ~! Haha.
^_^
