{November 07, 2007}   Calling All Call Center Enthusiasts ~

I was actually thinking of a cheesy title like: “Want to Earn Cash? ; Be part of the Call Center Industry”. Hehe, but that gives it all away then. ~ I’d rather have that toungue twister title there.

e-Telecare Global Solutions ~ Yup, this is where I am at. I work for a Big Computer Company as a Tech Support Representative. And have been here for a year and a half already, so far I’m enjoying my stay. Hmm.. its a common misnomer that when you work for a Call Center you get to be a zombie with moolah. Well yeah, your body clock would be altered but it doesn’t always stay that way. It does change back to normal. We don’t get caught in traffic Rush Hours too ~ Well I guess there are PROs and CONs, but in any job that you’ll take, these are going to be present.

BTW, eGS is currenty expanding and were looking for more than 200 agents before this year ends! Aside from Tech Support Representatives (TSR), we also have several openings for Customer Service Associate (CSA). Both for Inbound and Outbound Calls. I think we also have Non-Voice : email / chat support. Alabang is where I’m based at, however we also have branches at Libis, Makati, Shaw, Cebu and the latest ClarkPampanga . Did I forget we also have 4 other branches in US? Well if you get really lucky you get to travel alot if the company sends you.

Hey! Incase your interested or know someone who is ~ Shoot me an email at E11878[at]etelecare.com and / or fionixe[at]juansolutions.net . Send me your Complete Name, Primary and Alternate Contact Numbers and your preferred time of call and be ready for an Initial Phone Interview.

In this world, it doesn’t matter if you are Undergraduate or Currently taking up Masterals, plus no one is too old or too young here. What matters is your willingness learn how to handle your responsibilities and the passion in helping people out.

^_^ I’ll be waiting for your emails ~

{May 30, 2007}   ubuntu on dell units

Dell now offers units with Ubuntu OS pre-installed, initially offered on some specific models. I think some systems can also be purchased with Free DOS OS. No OS there ~ Hehe, your choice now! Our Tech Support doesn’t support Ubuntu yet at the moment, but we do have another support queue for that.. “Lemme just transfer you…”

What Is Open Source?

Open source software is designed in a way that lets multiple people change, improve and redistribute the source code, meaning the software is generally community developed and available for free.

An advantage of open source is that it can deliver more reliability and flexibility, as well as faster updates and fixes, all at a lower cost. Plus, if you’re an expert, you can tweak and alter the code to completely customize the software to do exactly what you want. A downside is that some open source software requires intermediate or advanced knowledge to use, and in the case of operating systems, may not be compatible with the same software applications and hardware as Windows operating systems.

{May 12, 2007}   transform~

i think you’re getting a bit of an idea on what i’ve been doing with my past entries the few days already. kungbaga nga “isang munting paalala galing sa ating mga isponsor”. well this one at least gets me writing. only that i have to think of “creative” ways on how to put it all ideas together, and to not being too off of who i am.

naman kasi eh, ano naman ang ilalagay ko tungkol sa cosmetic surgery in Beverly Hills? wait, i just did, did i?! Hehe.

Well, the telenovelas lately, such as Bakekang and Hiram and all others, have pretty much used this kind of transformation sequence. From ugly ducklings into shining shimmering splendid swan. Either due to a bad birth defect or some freak of nature. Pag may nagkagusto sayo or may “nagmamagandang loob” na madaming salaping pwedeng ilustay para lang sumikat ka or gawing asawa, e di go cosmetic surgery in Beverly Hills diba! Wala pang gastos! Free! Just the idea though, am not really a fan of anne courteous or hearty vangelista. hehe.

{May 12, 2007}   stretched stress

Stress is getting the best of me this past few days… Even pushing me into the brink of resigning already. Haay nako.. I learned from a friend that taking StressTabs would work but would leave you off beat, or something like that. While taking up calls won’t need much of physical strength, it is your brain that works most. For people under my program, no one in here got off from shift who is still looking beautiful as compared when they start the day. Draining. Specially with the type of shift we got for this month. You come into work around 1:30 am and leave 10:30 pm. Cold air in the evening and hot humid afternoon sun when you go home. shucks..

I can go on on ranting about this topic. But what i hate most, im getting skin and hair problems. Waah!! Irecently found out that i have skin asthma and would only appear due to sudden change of temperature. If i go out from an air conditioned building and walk under the hot blistering sun, you’d see me itching off, even with moisturizers and all.. kadiri..

And i hate split ends!! grr!! :x Though, i don’t have a problem with hair loss or may have to consult San Jose hair restoration, my long brownish black hair had small yellowish white tips already. Not even hair cuticle polishers may help get rid of them, but the last best resort for this is just to cut them off. But when they grow back they’re still appear, they say that split ends are reminders that you are thinking too much. Hmm… i wonder if it’ll also be the case with men.

{May 10, 2007}   cornrows and tattoos

I have an officemate, who returns from Puerto Galera after 3 days of vacation, had a huge change in hair style! Shocks the whole team when she got back. Hehe. Apparently she got Allen Iverson’s hair do. Yung parang may itatanim kang pechay o palay, tipong kaka-araro lang, tapos nakatirintas ng maliliit. Teeheehee. Cornrows is what they call it. ;)

“Parang ang sakit tingnan…” said a team mate. “…para kasing hinihila yung mukha mo”.
“At least you won’t be needing a bow tuck”. I said to her.

You won’t be stuck in that face for long. Apparently the said officemate went back to normal the day after. Said his hubby just got her into it, but claims that she never liked it anyway. Hehe. bad kami ni team mate.

If i’ll get back after a vacation, I’d shock my team with henna tattoos, like the ones of Kichie Nadal’s, yung sa kamay tapos directing sa middle finger. ^_^ hehe. On the tatoo part, meron rin palang tinatawag na Religious Tattoos. Grabe. ^_^ More shocking tatoos at the link!

{May 09, 2007}   of graphics expo, joost and gossips

I’ve received 3 email invites recently!

First one being an invite to attend The 12th Graphic Expo Seminar, which will be held on June 06 -09, 2007 at the Philippine Trade Training Center. Its for Graphic designers, digital artists, web masters, photographers, multimedia specialists and alike. The 3 day event will cover Adobe application suites such as Photoshop CS3 & CS2, Flash, Dreamweaver and etc. I think you’ll be able to choose which ones to attend :) More info here.

The second, thanks to Pong for the free Joost invite! yay! It is still on a beta version as of the moment, but with good internet connection, free cable viewing! Man, you gotta have this! I enjoy this one specially right now, ’cause our tv is broken. hehe.

Lastly, how am I going to say this? Hmm.. if you’re into the Buzz and the now defunct- SFiles, Feel free to take a peek at Celebrity Gossip. Hehe  But with the isteytside feel. Found out that Brad Pitt “may” actually play He-Man role, I wonder who would play She-Ra then?

{May 08, 2007}   mensiversary

Thanks to the “Call Logger” that we have here, if not I would have forgotten that today is our day. We have to input the date there, so I remembered! Yay! Hehe. Peace!^^

Happy 20th Mensiversary BearBear! Thanks for being there for me and being here with me… Hopefully we’d grow old together. Spend our lives not on nursing homes,  but in each other’s arms.  Then again if your in the nursing home, might aswell take me with you.
