e-Telecare Global Solutions ~ Yup, this is where I am at. I work for a Big Computer Company as a Tech Support Representative. And have been here for a year and a half already, so far I’m enjoying my stay. Hmm.. its a common misnomer that when you work for a Call Center you get to be a zombie with moolah. Well yeah, your body clock would be altered but it doesn’t always stay that way. It does change back to normal. We don’t get caught in traffic Rush Hours too ~ Well I guess there are PROs and CONs, but in any job that you’ll take, these are going to be present.
BTW, eGS is currenty expanding and were looking for more than 200 agents before this year ends! Aside from Tech Support Representatives (TSR), we also have several openings for Customer Service Associate (CSA). Both for Inbound and Outbound Calls. I think we also have Non-Voice : email / chat support. Alabang is where I’m based at, however we also have branches at Libis, Makati, Shaw, Cebu and the latest ClarkPampanga . Did I forget we also have 4 other branches in US? Well if you get really lucky you get to travel alot if the company sends you.

i just qualified for a 2-week pre-employment training at etelecare cebu. there are some things that i need some answers, hope you can enlighten some since these things only came out after i was being accepted (and left their office)and was able to talk to some of the applicants who also came from other call centers. This is my first time kasi, and i am actually very excited to work. I applied for a CSA.
1. do we get to choose our schedule, or working time? like me i prefer to be in a night shift? is it fixed that way, or once in a while egs will change the shift?
2. what about the day-offs? do we get 2 days a weeek? not necessarily saturday and sunday?
3. what about incentives and bonuses? how can i can qualify if ever?
4. will i be able to apply for promotions? what are the usual qualifications?
5. are there any other things that i should be excited about?
