{May 30, 2007}   ubuntu on dell units

Dell now offers units with Ubuntu OS pre-installed, initially offered on some specific models. I think some systems can also be purchased with Free DOS OS. No OS there ~ Hehe, your choice now! Our Tech Support doesn’t support Ubuntu yet at the moment, but we do have another support queue for that.. “Lemme just transfer you…” :mrgreen:

What Is Open Source?

Open source software is designed in a way that lets multiple people change, improve and redistribute the source code, meaning the software is generally community developed and available for free.

An advantage of open source is that it can deliver more reliability and flexibility, as well as faster updates and fixes, all at a lower cost. Plus, if you’re an expert, you can tweak and alter the code to completely customize the software to do exactly what you want. A downside is that some open source software requires intermediate or advanced knowledge to use, and in the case of operating systems, may not be compatible with the same software applications and hardware as Windows operating systems.

{May 29, 2007}   free up

On a lighter note. Imagine erasing almost 9Gb of Temp Internet Files! Sister doesn’t know that she had it on her profile, she loves viewing online vids. Anyway, I cleaned all profiles on my unit, and miraculously had half free disk space! Naghihingalo na dati sa 38Gb yung 40Gb HD ko, then it went down to 15Gb! Wee! Mako-continue ko na i-dl yung Studio Ghibli Movies already at 12% out of 11Gb. Yay!

BTW guys, lately ko lang nalaman na i got paid out from BlogToProfit! wee! Remember its valenfionixe[at]yahoo[dot]com as the referrer :mrgreen:

And if you guys are caught in an ugly situation and needed to resolve an issue between you and the other party,  San Diego mediation services can help you come up with a resolution to that will be beneficial to both.

:mrgreen:

{May 28, 2007}   cause and effect

After a week of physical, mental and emotional stress. I’ve come to realize that what happens to you in the present is because of the choices that you have made in the past.

Life is too short to waste it on worrying over things that you could’ve done in the past.

{May 25, 2007}   little sister was sick

Pati puso at kaluluwa narin.

{May 23, 2007}   addicted to you

Got tagged by Chris. ^_^

Rules:
1. Write about how much addicted you are towards something.
2. Don’t forget to include the percentage of ‘addictedness’ towards that thing.
3. All with one condition.. the total percentage must reach 100%.
4. You MUST tag others and continue tagging but please don’t forget to explain the rules and please notify that person so that they know they had been tagged.

Lets start with the highest percentage then.
* Anime 25%
> Yebah! Kaya usually Anime DVD marathon nalang din, either Download or Pirated buys. ^_^ Studio Ghibli Movies at 2.9% of 11.7Gb na! yey! :mrgreen:

* Blogging 25 %

{May 20, 2007}   weekend review

OPM Flashback hits woke me up this morning. Heard Nora Aunor sang “Sitsiritsit”, i-forgot-the-artist’s “Be, buti nga!” and the late Yoyoy with his “Botchikik” on radio. Hey, it’s Sunday today. Armed with Ariel powder and Clorox, i continued to listen to the old tunes while doing the usual weekend laundry. Made my own flashback too :mrgreen:

{May 18, 2007}   need more resources

canvasspaint sample by me ^_^Hmm. Got tagged by Alkobar Guy Chris . ^_^ hehe. But i have to create a little chart to make it appealing before i post it.. But somehow got a problem..

I’m a bit handicapped with tools here at the office. No MSOffice, just OpenOffice. No Run option. No graphic saving tool. Internet is my only resource. Though most of the commonly used sites are under Surf Control, somehow we manage to get by using Proxies. >>Cue: insert Eheads song here hehe. :mrgreen: So on my entries, words are placed first and then the pictures are added at home when i edit them.

I was on the hype of making a make-use-of-whats-available-Chart about the topic : being an addicted and all. But somehow i could not save just the chart, without saving the whole spreadsheet.. hmm… I only wanted to save the chart, print screen option is available, but where would i paste it to be saved? I wanted to upload it to my flicker account. Then view it on.crayola sample by me^_^

Crawled my way to Google and found an interesting item, its an Online MSPaint program. Looks pretty neat, kinda like Crayola’s. I use the Crayola when i am bored here, but unfortunately you cannot save it and the only way to “save” it, was to create a snapshot of your kiddie masterpiece and paste it on new outlook message and send it to yourself. Teehee. :mrgreen: Ok the Online MSPaint by canvass paint was promising, but the prob was it is compatible with a Mozilla Browser.. I still need to install it here. I could run the installation, but next was how to get it off, to clear it off my profile. When there is no access grant to uninstall it.. Hmm.. Need more resources… :roll:
